Chewies® is part of Pets Nature GmbH , a company that was 1999 by Martin Schupp with a great deal of idealism and a clear conviction: high-quality, species-appropriate pet food and a responsible business model are not mutually exclusive—on the contrary, they belong together.

2002 came Christian Numsen joined the company. Together, they developed Pets Nature into an established brand in the German pet market over the years. Always with the aim of not losing sight of the original values.

Strongly positioned for the future! To ensure that this remains the case in the long term, Pets Nature has been January 1, 2026 by a four-member management team . They combine experience, expertise, and a clear vision for the future:

We place great emphasis on origin, processing, and sustainability. This ensures that every Chewies® product not only tastes great but is also produced responsibly.

Together with Natural Pet Chew, the manufacturer of our chew sticks, deer antlers, and other chew treats, we also develop customized private label solutions. We support these projects from the initial concept through to a successful market launch.

Close contact with all manufacturers of pet food brands and importers is important to us. As part of our quality assurance process, we visit them regularly to check the quality of their certified manufacturing processes on site. Our sales representatives receive intensive training from us so that, in addition to selling the products, they can always provide detailed advice. In addition to their professional skills, our employees also bring their love of animals with them. Their four-legged friends are our merciless expert jury when it comes to taste tests.
